About the LET Access Series

The LET Access Series, the official feeder tour to the Ladies European Tour, has been formed to give players not part of a major tour an opportunity to compete and progress on to the Ladies European Tour.

The top player on the 2010 LET Access Series (LETAS) Ranking will earn membership of the Ladies European Tour for the 2011 season, whilst other players highly ranked will be given the opportunity to progress to the final stage of LET Qualifying School.

The 2010 LETAS schedule will feature five tournaments; La Nivelle Ladies Open at Golf de la Nivelle near Biarritz, due to take place from 11-13 February and Terre Blanche Ladies Open at Golf de Terre Blanche near Nice, scheduled for 31 March-2 April, both with prize funds of €25,000. The Dinard Ladies Open, due to be played at Dinard Golf Club near Rennes from 15-17 April, features a prize purse of €30,000 and the Trophée Preven's played at Golf de Bussy Guermantes, near Paris will feature a prize fund of €25,000. The final event of the season is the Murcia Ladies Open held at the La Manga Club Resort in Spain for a prize fund of €20,000.

All female professional golfers and amateurs with a handicap of 3 or better will be eligible for membership of LETAS, providing they are over 18 years of age.

Generali Ladies Tour

The French Golf Federation (FFGolf) has decided to launch in 2010 a new ladies tour open to the best professional golfers and best European amateurs, to give them playing opportunities especially at the beginning of the season. With the support of its partner GENERALI, the tour will have 3 events for its first year (La Nivelle near Biarritz, Terre Blanche near Nice and Dinard near Rennes) with prize money of €25,000 to €30,000. After those 3 events, 3 professional golfers and 3 amateur players will be invited to compete at the French Open that will take place in September at the Paris International Golf Club. The GENERALI Ladies Tour will directly give access to the LET, as a member of the LET Access Series.
