On a day when only 30 out of 120 players scored par or better, Anais Meysonnier took the early lead in the Jabra Ladies Open, with a five under par, 66.

The LET Access rookie who turned professional earlier this year, fired seven birdies against two bogeys to headline at the €50,000 event held in France at the Evian Resort Golf Club.

Speaking post her round Meysonnier said, "I hit my irons very straight, and my putting was good."
The 20-year-old who lives in Arles, France is excited at having a chance to qualify for the Evian Championships in September this year.

Close on her heels are fellow Frenchwomen Isabelle Boineau, Camille Chevalier and England's LET Access Series order of merit leader Meghan Maclaren, all tied for second at 4 under, while a further three are at 3 under.

The leading amateur is Denmark's Puk Lyng Thomsen who shot a one-over 72 followed by France's Emma Grechi a shot behind at two-over.

The Jabra Ladies Open is making its LET Access Series debut this year, and also offers two spots in the Evian Championship at the end of 54 holes.
